i have been da for 2 years, divorced, ex and my son live 6 hours away near walkill ny.. my sons first talk is coming up, in august.

he is 7 years old.

6 minutes to review dress & grooming, no strollers, no whooping and yelling at baptism or talks, polite applause only. No seat saving, no coming in late, be prepared to take notes & pay attention.... No going off-site for lunch... mind your manners when new releases are released, don't leave sessions early.... Honor special parking arrangements, behave yourself at hotels/motels.... And the speaker (incredibly boring speaker) thinks it is shocking that the king would grossly misappropriate the use of these funds!!
Does Watchtower ever use "dedicated funds" to go after a personal enemy"????? (a rhetorical question for most of you!!). Fighting or defending themselves against pedophile or child abuse lawsuits much?? Oh my gawd.

i ran into a former jw friend from my childhood.

i haven't seen him in 15 years.

My husband & I met and married at the KH, he is 15-20 years older than me. We have been married for close to 20 years now, but came out of that stupid religion only a few years ago.
We are *not* pedophiles, as SoWhatNow most incorrectly said. Nor are we mentally unbalanced (other than what this cult has done, but that continues to improve as we journey out of it together!) There are some who may claim we are mentally diseased apostates, but that is a whole other thing.
